Owner/ Operator- Glenn Would

An avid outdoors adventurer of over 40 years. Growing up in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Skiing, climbing, hiking and backwoods camping were my passions. Moving to Mississauga, Ontario in 1988 at the age of 21 and discovering Algonquin Park, Canoeing and portaging were the new favourite pastimes. Eventually the opportunity came to move to my cottage in Bracebridge in the year 2000, and being exposed to Snowmobiling and ATVing, this allowed for the discovery of wilderness areas that most of the population could not reach.

Wanting to share these outdoor adventures, the idea of a tour business was first discussed and has been 20 years in the making.

The entire duration of this time period I was employed in Automotive Dealership environment starting in 1985 at an entry level position as Parts Driver and advancing to Fixed Operations Manager  by the year 2000 and held that position for the past 24 years. During the Covid years in the summers 2020 and 2021 I started working with John Williams/ Lake Country Adventure Co, a water rentals business which has now sparked this opportunity, and have continued helping during the summer periods since that time.

With the support of family, we started working on the development of the Edge of Muskoka Experience Inc., completing the Legal, Articles of Incorporation and CRA registration in 2021. We have been accumulating equipment since that time and with the creation the website, edgeofmuskoka.ca, and Social Media presence on Facebook and Instagram, we are set to go.

Currently still working as Fixed Operations Manager at Mike Jackson GM in Collingwood. And hope to continue balancing both positions during start up until the customer traffic builds until it requires our full-time attention.
